Michael was my
first special. We were ranked in the
top 50 Labradors
for three consecutive years. Michael and I
qualified for Westminster twice in
junior
showmanship. Our qualifying win, Best Junior Handler, was under Mr.
George Bragaw in Denver, Co.
at the LRC
National Show, October 4,1991. Ranked as the #1 Labrador Junior
Handler combo we were hard to beat.
Michael died at an
early age and has been sorely missed. He will always be
remembered as my first special—in the ring and my heart.

“Christie”

owned by Shirley Reynolds and Diane McClurg
Christie was my first junior showmanship dog. She taught me how to groom as well as patience in the ring. Christie was a soft-hearted dog that put up with me and taught me well. We lost Christie one rainy night when someone open the gates to our yard and let the dogs out. All but Christie returned to our arms. Christie was found the next day; she had been hit by a car. Christie will be remembered forever.

"Molly"

(Ch. Kupros Marshall x Aquadots Kiss Me Kate CD)
Molly was our first 'show' Labrador who also became our first specialty winner. She was BOS from the veterans class under breeder-judge Linda Oldaham (Barbaree). What a thrill!! Molly never questions if she should do a task asked of her--she did it for us with no hesitation. Her do-it all attitude is one that lives on!
Ch. Far Hills Instant Retort CD
"Torie"

Torie was my shadow. She was at my side through thick an thin. Torie was diagnosed with a brain tumor in early 2001. She survived until Jan of 2004. I was undoubtedly blessed to have her for those years. She still jumped, played, and did the schnauzer woo-woo until the day she left my arms. One day I know I will see her at Rainbow Bridge waiting for me patiently.
